| 英文描述 | The use of wood shavings containing black walnut (JUGLANS NIGRA) as stall bedding has been associated with development of limb edema, laminitis, and other signs in horses. Signs developed within 12 hours of placing the bedding with the horses. Outbreaks of laminitis due to bedding of multiple horses with walnut have been seen. Dx by signs of laminitis and analysis of the bedding. Walnut shavings are dark and close-grained. |
